Its hard to say how long it will be back for, but the game Edge is back in the App Store!
I haven’t seen any news from Mobigame or anyone else yet as to why it’s returned. I’m hoping that Mobigame and Langdell have finally resolved their differences and this is a permanent change. Up till now, every time Edge appears in the App Store, it’s removed a few days later.
There is nothing on Mobigame’s website since the game had been available in almost all other country stores except the USA and UK stores.
Hopefully, this is great news for us customers. Edge is an amazing game and well worth the $4.99 that is being asked for it. If you haven’t been able to buy it up until now, I suggest grabbing it now before it disappears again. Unless there has been a change in the relationship between Mobigame and Langdell, I suspect that Mr. Langdell will be contacting Apple shortly to have Edge removed again. Hopefully, I’m wrong and the huge saga is finally over, but this is Langdell we are talking about here. The man has a huge screw loose, no lights at all on in the house, etc…

Here’s a good rundown of the legal wrangling so far:

Yeah, I just found that link. When I first published the article, ChaosEdge hadn’t written that post yet.
So I posted a new article pointing to Razorianfly that pointed out that post as well as published an email that Mobigame sent to them and other App Store game blogs. So it looks like it’s really official and Mobigame finally won the right to use the name Edge.
All I can say is: Its about time!

A couple of the most popular blogging programs/services are:
Blogger: http://www.blogger.com/
WordPress: http://www.wordpress.com/
Movable Type: http://www.movabletype.com/
I use WordPress and host it myself, although you can use WordPress as a host too. All of the above choices can be hosted by yourself or the companies that run them.
Hosting yourself has its advantages, but you need to understand a little about linux, FTP, and a little web scripting language. Using their hosting services has huge advantages too, but there are limits to what you can do with your site if you don’t host it.
Blogger and WordPress offer free services, and Movable Type (TypePad) starts at less than $9 a month.
There are many others including SquareSpace. All are probably good choices. Picking one will be something you have to do on your own.
